Buddy Holly wrote it in 1957. The Rolling Stones covering it in February of 64'. I abandoned the the Bo Diddley beat (which derived from a West African rhythm)... my version is VERY world and now sounds nothing like the hand jive. Mission accomplished. I took a lot of creative liberty. : ) Hope you enjoy.
